I'll try to be brief. Sometimes I press the start button and there's a slight delay, tiny but noticeable; sometimes it does not start at all; and sometimes it does not stop. It's intermittent and only started occurring yesterday. I haven't installed anything new. I have used MIDIVIEW for Windows to monitor signals and the midi data is good for both start buttons, left and right. And I replaced both switches for the start/stop buttons recently.
Firmware? Software? What could be causing the issue?

For anybody having similar issues, I downloaded the latest Serato DJ Pro software, SX drivers and firmware.
I re-applied the current firmware, reinstalled midi drivers and uninstalled then reinstalled Serato DJ Pro.
After all this, the dodgy button problem is fixed
Correction: reinstalled *drivers. I have midi on my mind :-)
I spoke too soon - the problem is back. Help!
I can't sign in for some reason as 'me'... Further investigation led to discovering the replaced tact switch was slightly loose. So, this time, I carefully soldered in another 403 DDJLE 416 tact switch and everything is working.
