On Several Occasions, a famous DJ has talked about the decreased responsiveness and some latency issues with the CDJ-3000's and the fact that they will require a firmware update. After receiving mine, i thought this same occasional latency/responsiveness issue was probably because of something i wasn't doing right till i chanced upon this video. Personally, i think pioneer dj should channel a lot of resources into fixing these minor issues that customers are complaining about all over the forum. From delayed firmware updates for the DJM-S11 ,DJS-1000, rekordbox software etc etc .

Hopefully this will be a wake-up call for AlphaTeta / PioneerDJ. If even their reputation becomes worse, what would be left then?
Don't get me wrong, I own two CDJ3000s and like them, but I always wonder why it takes so long to come up with updates/fixes - even when they are not rushed and thoroughly tested, it should not take so long even for the smallest fixes/improvements. I am working in IT / software dev. business, so I roughly know about what I am talking.
I even would prefer to first fix all the small issues before implementing any improvements. Prio #1 for me is stability, and I think the CDJs are not too bad at this (when looking at other players in the market), although it looks like the CDJ 3000s need a little bit *more* attention.
The CDJ 3000s and the XDJs are selling good (from my reception), hope there will be enough revenue to hire some more developers. PioneerDJ, please don't put too much ressources on new hardware before fixing everything on the existing hardware.
