Sample slice on the fly like Ableton pad slice

I was jamming on the Toriaz this evening and realised that it would be very, very useful to be able to create slice points on the fly as you are listening to a sample - similar to how you can do it with Push 2 and ableton live. You could use the pads while in "slice assign mode" to create a slice point as and when you want as the sample plays / loops. It would be so cool.
