Pioneer wego and Serato Intro - Hardware Disconnected

 I recently purchased a second-hand Wego and was advised to use the Serato Intro software. I decided to give Rekordbox a go instead, but found that my laptop wasn't quite powerful enough. So I've now downloaded Serato and it keeps flashing up Hardware Disconnected. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, changing USB ports, reinstalling Serato, but nothing changes. Is there anything I can do?
