DDJ-RZX mixer issue - Audio Drop

So i'm experiencing a peculiar issue with the RZX.... Every few nights or so, my mixer stops outputting audio... to itself?

Allow me to explain. From my understanding, the RZX mixer is standalone. My impression is that standalone means standalone lol. So what happens is that I can see the audio bands lighting up on the decks, but no audio is being routed to the master channel. I.E. the eq bands on the master channel indicate no activity. Turning the master volume button up or down does nothing. Furthermore, the cues (headphones) don't work.

Only two fixes i've used correct this, but it's only temporary as the problem comes back fairly often.

Fix 1 (Try first): Reinstall drivers - You would think this should be the last thing to try, but given that fix 2 is rather destructive, it makes sense. Reinstalling the drivers corrects the audio issue 80% of the time

Fix 2: Reset audio preferences to default in rekordbox - Destructive, meaning any changes you've made in there will be set to factory default. This works 20% of the time.

Again, these are temporary fixes, as the problem comes back. So again, if the mixer is fully standalone, then how would this routing issue even occur? Someone either help me with a permanent fix, or an opinion as to what they think the problem is. Mind you, this is my third RZX in 45 days, all have had this same issue (I'm a glutton for punishment).
