I have been ordered new XDJ-RX2 with Rekordbox Video plug-in.
Now Testing trial version Rekordbox 5.0.1 and I was surprised missing setting video out LetterBoxing (bars, crop and zoom ) (stretch to fit ) I Have meybe 5K clips from 60-70-80-90s with ratio 4:3 . Black stripes is unacceptable.
All software for VJ having this settings but rekord box no. Why ? This is standart .

This is on the list to be included in a future update. Please be sure to follow the Beta forum as it will likely be available there before a full public release, and it would be great to have you test it to give your feedback there as well.

I have been asking for a 'stretch to fit' feature for a over year. Every other competing software has it. Also the 'border fill' feature is something that should be built in. Since there is not' stretch to fit', I am still using Serato.

I bought a DDJ 1000, because it used traktor for audio and VDJ for video, but since I have a lot of work like VJ for bands and clubs, I invested in this new technology.
I was also very disappointed after seeing that the old 4x3 videos had black bars above and below. I found a solution because I can not sell my (new) equipment and change technology again. I'm converting all my videos using HandBrake, follow instructions in the link below:

I am using this configs:
Storage Size (is from the file)
Display size: (change from the file too)
PAR (THIS IS THE SECRET) : 1280 x 944
Anamorphic: Custom
Modulus: 2
And on the Audio feature I choose 320K.
