It's not showing the CDJs as they are in HID mode and don't have remapping available.
As for the display, how are the CDJs connected?
I can only see my DJM-900NXS2 mixer in the device dropdown box.
I want to map my CDJ-2000NXS2's but they're not listed, even though everything is connected and I can control rekordbox dj with my CDJs.
Also, Control Device Info only lists 1 CDJ.
Any idea?

I have CDJs and mixer connected via LAN switch/hub.
Then mixer connected to Mac with USB.
Yeah, that could be why - it's using the USB > Ethernet bridge, so it could just show up like that even if both are functioning.
It is so annoying that you guys are not allowing custom mapping of the CDJs. The difference in custom midi mapping functionality between traktor and rekordboxDJ is ridiculous. NI completely blows Pioneer out of the water in this area. you guys should be embarrassed about the midi mapping functionality offered in the software. Its borderline useless. Why are you forcing all of us to use the CDJs the way you guys think all DJs should use them? We need customization... not all of us want to play on CDJs the way the Pioneer engineers are forcing us too. It's your hardware for gosh sakes. You guys can open up customization any time you want.
First check what softwate suits you, then look into gear thats compatible with your software.
You are forcing pioneer to behave like traktor haha.
Ridiculous!
I have no problems with rekordbox and the midi mapping is very usefull with the DJM 2000.
I'm requesting basic midi over-mapping thats available in Traktor, VDJ & Serato.
Without the overmapping you cant do Beat Jumps over 16 beats, Key Sync, and all the touch screen functions have horrible latency. They are not even close to the response quality of the hardware buttons.
I am sure its no problem for you because you just do basic benign mixing... but for DJs who have a complexed workflow and actually use the functions in the software, it is extremely frustrating that we cant map slip loops, coloring effects, sample pads, key shift EFXs, & termination effects to the existing surface controls.
All of which is 100% possible with the DDJ XP2. There is no reason they cant make that functionality happen with an over-mapping on the CDJ2000NXS2. They just wont do it because it is not design labor that generates a profit.
There are people out there that actually do more in the booth than just overlap the end 3 phrases of the songs and twist some knobs.
Maybe step over to traktor 3 then?
When i use the djm 2000 in rb5 im using it in external mode.
And yes the touchscreen midi mode has a bit latency but what does it matter when your using it for key sync?
I use 2 cdj 2000s in hid mode, they lack a quantize button and slip mode.
So i use the midi screen of the djm for that.
I like traktor a lot too it would unlock a lot more midi functions.
Much more effects.
Still i stick with rb5, works just fine for me.
I guess im just an end phrase overlapping DJ then, also guilty of twisting knobs!
Hope you find your way with your gear.
