OK, pretty sure this won't fly but would still be a nice feature.
With a lot of the new controllers supporting only internal mixing it'd be straightforward to add a VST insert point in the signal flow. Maybe pre and post fader for the music/sampler/mic channels and another on the master out bus.
That way we could add effects on the music channels and global EQ and other processing like MaxxBass on the master bus.

This would be perfect way to insert an 10- or 31-band EQ for example with presets for different locations!
This feature will also need to come with some latency correction in signal path due to the fact that VST-processing needs some time.
The EQ is mainly what I was thinking about it for. And I agree with the latency correction if the insert point was in the deck signal paths. Don't think it'd be necessary for the others though as there's nothing they'd need to be corrected to line up with
