DJM-S5 not all MIDI signals are being detected by Traktor Pro 3.6

I just got a DJM-S5.  I created a custom MIDI mapping of all of the pads, browse knob, load buttons, et.   This all worked fine for me when I first tried the mixer.  The next day when I fired up my system to do some mixing I am finding that Traktor is not detecting a MIDI signal for the pads and load buttons.  I can tell as you are able to see a MIDI signal light in the Traktor software when I use the browse knob which sends signal and allows me to navigate tracks.  I have just lost the ability to send MIDI signal from the 8 pads, and the two Pad 5-8 buttons.  This is very odd and I am not sure where to go from a troubleshooting standpoint.  When I press either of the Pad 5-8 buttons they don't light up red anymore, however I can still power on the mixer while holding FX1+PAD 5-8 and this does put the mixer into REV mode, so I believe the Pad 5-8 buttons are still sending signal.  I have re-installed the firmware (1.03).  I have tried different USB-C cables to rule that out.
