Currently I have a Rane SL3 and used Serato DJ for more than a decade , but they discontinued support to this interface and ironically, on Rekordbox I still can use SL3.
So I’m thinking in move to Rekordbox.
Here are some questions :
1 - If I buy an Interface 2, will I still need to pay monthly subscription to use Rekordbox DVS on Mac ?
2 - Is there any advantage to use Rekordbox with Interface 2 when compared to Rane SL 3?
3 - Will Pioneer keep supporting Interface 2 for the next years or will it be abandoned soon like Serato did ?
Hey Daniel,
1. No - DVS is included as a hardware unlock with the IF2.
2. The SL3 is not officially supported, so ... there's that.
3. We still support TONS of old hardware as unlock devices, and units as old as 2010 are still on the supported list.
