CDJ-3000 skipping sound / lagging sound

Hi! I just got by brand new CDJ-3000s. I plugged them into the soundsystem at the nightclub where i used to have CDJ-2000s. Plugged them in with digital cables and linked them together. I used my USB with playlists exported from rekordbox. When i started playing songs the sound started skipping, on both players, using 2 different USBs. I have no idea what the problem is. When i plug in my old CDJ-2000s it works perfectly, same setup. But with the new 3000s the sound skips so badly i cant even play a single song. Any ideas?
