use DDJ-XP2 as a control surface for Ableton

Hi,

I Would like to use my XP2 as a control surface to Ableton Live 11.

The idea is to use this setup as a sampler. So, I would like to load my samples, kicks, drums etc. in Ableton as clips in session view.

Then from the XP2 I would like to be able to trigger the clips.

If I'm not mistaking the XP2 can also be used as a midi control device. So, would be useless to buy a Novation, Ableton Push 2 or Akai midi controller when I already have 32 pads on my XP2, right.

Is there a midi mapping available?

You can adjust the MIDI timing in the Ableton preferences.

The solution was setting the quantize to none
