DDJ-400 / No headphone sound or no output / either one or the other

Hi,

I hope this is a simple solution :)

I have an issue where I have either no sound out of my speakers or no sound in the headphones.

SOUND IN HEADPHONES - No output sound
----------------------------------------------------------------
RB Audio: DDJ-400 WASAPI
Output Master: DDJ-400 WASAPI: MASTER
Headphones Output: DDJ-400 WASAPI: PHONES
Booth Output: DDJ-400 WASAPI: MASTER
Windows Output: Main Output Komplete Audio 6 WDM Audio

OUTPUT SOUND - No signal in headphones
-----------------------------------------------------------
RB Audio: Main Output Komplete Audio 6 WDM Audio
Output Master: Output Ch1 / Ch2
Headphones Output: -
Booth Output: -
Windows Output: Main Output Komplete Audio 6 WDM Audio

How the hell do I get sound from the main output and a signal into my headphones ?

Do I have to connect the DDJ-400 direct to the soundcard with RCA cables ?

Regards
Glenn

You should have the DDJ-400 selected as the output in rekordbox. Connect the headphones to the DDJ.

The Komplete 6 should be your Windows default output device. Connect your speakers to the Komplete 6.

Enable PC Master Output in rekordbox.

Done, no extra cables necessary.

Thanks.

That's the settings I would expect, however, the only Master Output settings I have are

DDJ-400 WASAPI: MASTER
DDJ-400 WASAPI: PHONES

Ahh, I've fixed it, with ticking the 'Output audio from your computer's built-in speakers and your DJ equipment (PC MASTER OUT).'

Audio: DDJ-400 WASAPI
* Tick: Output audio from your computer's built-in speakers and your DJ equipment (PC MASTER OUT).

OUTPUT: DDJ-400 WASPI: MASTER + Main Output (Komplete Audio 6 WDM Audio)

Booth Output: -

Thanks

hmm, but now I can notice some kind of delay in the headpones connected to the DDJ-400 :(
