midi controller simultaneously with XDJ XZ and RB performance

When I use my DDJ-XP1 with RB performance I can just add midi controllers and midi map them. If however I connect my XZ as well then de non pioneerdj controllers disappear. I can't see why it does that. Has anyone tried that? Remedy?....
