Pioneer Flagship Headphones

Every pioneer flagship headphone I've bought in the past have failed after just about 3 years and it's ALWAYS the same issue. The little XLR connection that plugs into the headphone goes bad AT the headphone part and only leaves one side working. I've tried numerous different cords and the problem still persists. I even took them to the Pioneer Repair Center here in Vegas and they had no idea what was wrong. This is true for both pairs I have (HDJ2000's). Has anyone run into this and and leads to get them fixed? I need new phones and bought the X5, but they just don't feel right and I wanna get the X10's.
