XDJ XZ Browser/Encoder Knob Skipping

I know you can skip to the top or bottom of a folder by scrolling fast enough, but the knob is starting to do it at any speed, even when scrolling very slowly. Any ideas for a fix? Do I have to take the whole thing apart to clean it with deoxit?
