REV 7 – CH1 tone control output

I do have a question about the USB 1/2 and USB 3/4 Output of the DDJ REV7. The Settings tools offers the selection of a Control Tone output to the DAW/DJ software on these busses. The manual talks of an audio output, regardless of the USB audio volume.
My assumptions is, that when I hook up the REV7 to my DAW (in my case Bitwig), and press play on one of the decks of the REV7, I'll hear the Control Tone and when I scratch hear the Control Tone to modulate.

But I don't hear anything – Why is that?
