DJM2000 Operating Temperature

I am using a DJM2000 in a coffin case. The setup is pretty closed in except for a gap under the rear of the mixer where I have it propped up with foam. But the under side of the mixer is really hot to the touch. Is this normal for the 2000's or should I think of wiring in some small fans for better air circulation.

Not much space in the case though for fans, even 30mm fans are probably too big..

All my pioneer mixers over the years had got hot and I've never had a problem.

The manual says, Tolerable operating temperature...+5 degrees C to +35 degrees C

...and that's the ambient temperature.  But truth be told, I've used CDJs and DJMs as low as -35C and as high as +45C and they still worked.

All for the love of music! The show must go on. No matter how cold or hot!

Well that's reassuring that they put out and can handle quite a lot of heat.

Thanks
