@Axel > that's 100% normal for the mixer to send clock signal; you can mute that from the stream in MIDI-OX. Have you tried pressing the MIDI ON/OFF button?
just received my brandnew DJM 900 and I encounterd the following problem:
I want to send midi data to control my sequenzer and/or dj software (ssl). but the faders and also the buttons don't send any midi data after midi was started on the DJM 900. the problem is on midi via usb as well as on the midi out jack.
to find out what is going wrong I used the midi-ox midi analyzing software. it shows that my DJM 900 sends permanently the midi clock signal (midi status byte F8), the start/stop commands when the midi start/stop button is pressed (status bytes FA & FC), the midi-lfo is also functional as it should and snapshot data is also correctly sent (when pressing midi start/stop for 2sec).
however it shows that absolute no data is sent when a fader is moved or a button pressed ( of course i pressed midi start).
next step was updating the firmware from 1.11 to 1.20 - result is still the same. so where is the trick to get the midi funtion working?
thanks for any help
