I have a djm 2000 I am trying to use to record out into audacity. When trying to set it up when I go to my djm 2000 pref it says not connected? All the cables are connected in the right spots though and I just updated all the firmware, any idea's as to why?

I am using a mac and watched it before the problem is when you go to the system preferences the djm 2000 shows up but when you click on it, it is all grayed out and says djm 2000 is not connected but it really is, so im trying to figure out why it says its not connected???
Go to Applications > Utilities and open the Audio MIDI Setup.
Open the Audio window (if not already open) and see if the DJM2000 is listed there. If not, or does not have the configuration you were expecting, go to the System Preferences panel and open the DJM-2000 Settings applet.
See if it's configured to 8/0, 6/2 or 6/0. If you have it set to X/0 it will obviously not have any outputs from the mixer to the computer.
