DJM 900 NXS Soundcard Bites The Dust - Resolution TBD

Can't get any laptop or pc to communicate with the unit. USB light never comes on and PC or laptop never even sees a USB connection.  I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, resetting the mixer to defaults, different cables, PCs, laptops, etc... I use this thing religiously at home so I've been working on this feverishly since yesterday.

Opened a call with tech support and they told me to take it into an authorized shop. It's out of warranty so I'm gonna fix this baby on my own. Ordered a new USB assembly so hopefully that fixes it. If not I will have to look into my next option. Figured I'd throw this on here in case anyone ever has or has had a similar issue. Keeping my fingers crossed for an easy resolution!
