I got the djm 850 yesterday and just wanted to come down and give props to Pioneer - it works like a charm with TSP2!
I'd previously used my CDJ900s on the Live inputs on Traktor S4 but soon as I got the DJM workin I realized this has been the bit of the puzzle that I've missed for so long. Bye bye S4 - gonna sell that and buy a smaller controller for when I'm on the road again.
...well done Pioneer. There may be other mixers / cdjs on the market which boast same/more features for less price but the fact of the matter is: I'm busy and I cant spend time learning a setup thats not an industry standard + the pios have never failed on me (knock on wood).
The price tag is steep as many have pointed out but I'd rather spend my money on something that actually works than spend my time on something thats not a standard and (in the worst case) gets the job done only half way.
