Anybody?
To be more clear. My crossfader setting is on one setting but it acts like it's on another. I move the switch around but it doesn't reset.
Had a weird issue over the weekend! Normal gig a can be. I don't do a lot of scratching and a lot of crossfader work. However, as I did reach for some crossfader action, it seemed as thought the crossfader switch had moved into a different mode. I typically use it in the configuration like this \__/ for quick cutting. But the crossfader was doing a slow fade, where the volume would dip in the 50/50 middle position. The volume would significantly change in volume with the slightest touch to the left or the right. I turned off the cross fader at this point, but it's a fairly new mixer and want it to work correctly. Is there a way to "reset" the crossfader so the original control work?

If you have the skill of repairing it, open the section where the crossfader is and see if it might be stuck or something, otherwise take it to the service and they will set it up back for you. I hope my answer helped you as i have just registered.
Good luck with that.
I am gonna try to clean the switch and if that doesn't work, maybe pull the face plate off. I hope its something where I can re-set the switch and it works again.
I Have this EXACT problem NOW the day before playing somewhere!!!
In the most vague hope this is seen...did this ever get resolved and HOW?
IF you see this please reply...appreciate it!
