[SOLVED] Updated DJM-T1 Firmware Ver.3.00 - Monday, 3 December 2012

I have updated to the new firmwire with the tsi. Everything work fine on the flux mode. I do not use my mixer on Midi mode, so not too sure about the other stuff. But I have couple issues

1) BIG ISSUE. Now I am having issue with calibration. I will try with my A8 tonight. I might need new needlez. Can't be the TCs they are farly new.

2) And this one is my personal opinion. Cue points needs to be more practical. I use a lot of cues and that "triple tap - Hold" to access 5 to 8 is blablabla....  I basically dont use it but I would love to.I was expecting some improvment on that Dept. I use the F1 in midi mode for the Cues and gotta switch back every now and then for the sample decks.

Suggested solution. Why not tweek the tsi and give us access to Cuepoints 5 thru 8 by pressing "select" (which would have take us to the sample). Then Make Double Click Shit +Select  for the Sample decks. Sometimes I juggle with sound in cues on the 5 to 8 and hold that shit is not cutting it. T2.6 make the sample decks on the T1 sadfjaksfja. So I think more priority should go on the Cues. I am not lucky with that whole midi mapping thing, I am afraid of messing everything up by changing the original tsi. 

I got really pissed when I realised I could not preview C&D AFTER i bought it. I also thought some updates along the way would do the trick. Not sure if it can be done on Midi mode, (Again all I do is press play). Not sure if it's possible at all on the T1. If KZ2 let you preview C&D T1 value will go south no matter how many firmware updates. More DJs will use Samples more 12/21/12.

did you manage to fix the BIG issue?

I have my new DJM-T1 and before I had my Traktor 2.6 plugged into my A10 + DJM-300 and had no issues.

Now with the new mixer I'm having calibration problems as well - and it only happens on the right deck - the issue occurs using the A10 as the audio device or even using the built in audio device on the DJM-T1 - sometimes the musics jumps around on the right deck.

I have changed neddles, timecode records and I will now replace the turnnables left to right and vice versa to monitor, but I was wondering if you still have the issue and if don't what did you do.

For me I think it was hardware/computer related. I did buy a new lenovo computer few months ago. I was planning on upgrading my 4 year old HP. Before the T1 update, everything was running fine on both computers. After the update the new machine is still giving me calibration issue when using the T1 and everything was fine with when using A8. With my old HP everything is fine. To answer your question no, I have not fixed it.

As for your problem it seems the be your TT tonearm. Take the needle out and blow into your tonearm and try again. It might also need some adjustment.

@Pulse-I tried the midi mode to add the Cues, but they were conflicting with 1-4 for one reason or another I tried to modify the existing tsi. I deleted everything that had to do with deck C&D or remix decks and Added Cue 5 to 8 when press "select". It did not work. Remix decks C&D in traktor were still tied up with the T1 when pressing "select". . I am pretty much sure I am missing something. I "tone play" with some sounds on some tracks, and sometimes jumps back to some other part of the track. That's why I need more than 4 cues.

Beside that, I am super happy with the mixer. reading some people it's seem a lot more can be accomplished running the whole thing on internal mode.    

Well, I've updated the firmware of the DJM-T1 Mixer to v3.00 and I also imported the settings file (v1.02) to TRAKTOR 2 (v2.6.0). But unfortunately the new "FLUX" mode function is not Switching ON and OFF through the combination of (SHIFT+ACTIVE) buttons, of the DJM-T1!! :(
