Hi, you founda fix for this yet? Have logged on for pretty much the same reason... don't want to make another thread as the problem I'm having is similar. Basically am not using Traktor but monitoring with headphones on I'm only getting one channel through for my turntable, only the right ear will work. Both channels play fine through speakers. Both channels in the headphones work when line is used from another source. The problem is with both phono ins, only one channel works, if I swap the cables over the other ear plays as though its a cable problem but its not as through stereo its fine, just through the mixer its not... the fact that I can swap them over and have the other ear play should mean that nothing is wrong as both channels are capable of playback. Is strange... need help.
pioneer DJM-T1 / Traktor - headphone monitoring issues
i just got the pioneer djmt1, ive set it up for time code and updated the drivers and firmware.
firstly i already own the s4 and have no issues running two time code decks and 2 internal decks, traktor and the s4 love each other till the end.
to make this story alot shorter, i have abandoned time code for now and have gone back to internal mixing straight from the mixer (as the djmt1 has all the s4 controlls built right onto the surface of the mixer)
the problem is:
i just cannot monitor the mix through the headphones, ive tryed various setups inside traktor input/output routing but nothing works!
i just cannot monitor the 2 channels individually and i press the headphone cue buttons! ive spent about 6 hrs on this now and im at the end of my teather!!!
as far as i can see the channels on the djmt1 are 1/2 3/4 5/6 - should there be another channel for headphones????
im very lost and appear to have tryed everything, currently running latest drivers and firmware for the pio and traktor 2.6.7!!
i can get everything to work in internal mode - time code or mixer controls but i cannot monitor individual channels through the headphones, OMG hHEEEELLPPP!!!

Right yeah, so both channels play through stereo.... with the headphones only one channel plays BUT I can switch the RIGHT channel phono line in to either Left or Right input on the mixer and it will play from ear to ear.... WTF. Has to be a software issue, have updated to 3.0. Can see no other reason as its not the cable. This occurs on both Phono ins.
You don't need to assign the output for the headphone cueing - just make sure you're using the software in external mixer mode.
Follow the instructions in the manual and you'll get it solved, if not, just ask for a follow-up.
Don't know what happened dude but yeah, the phones work now. Think I need to break down my set up and figure out what I've put together... or buy a new mixer, fader isn't so sharp on these DJMs, eh?
2:50 to set mixer in internal or external mode above video
