Yeah, that's the usual fader lag associated with the DJM-900SRT cross fader and there aren't any adjustments to be made, sorry!

SeguirDJM-900 SRT Cross Fader Calibration
X-post from Serato forums. Didn't get a response there.
Just pulled the trigger on a DJM 900 SRT. Loving the mixer thus far but have been curious if my cross fader is not calibrated properly. Image below.
It gets close to halfway between the first white line and second white line before opening the sound. Not really the biggest deal but I am wondering if this is normal. It closes right behind the white line so I assumed it should open right in front of it.
I saw this video about calibrating the DJM-T1 but couldn't find anything in the manual or online about calibrating the DJM 900-SRT.
Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the quick response.
Can another cross fader be put in place of this one? And is the 900-NXS more sensitive in terms of lag? I'm within my exchange policy and I am loving the mixer otherwise.
A popular 3rd party replacement is the Innofader, and although their website doesn't say anything specifically about the DJM900SRT, I believe (but may be wrong) that the SRT is the same as the nexus in terms of the fader. The Innofader guys should be able to answer that for you.
i have the same issue with the DJM 900 SRT i replaced the crossfader for th innofader and still is not calibrated properly,i want something like the S9 MAGVEL PRO
@Esteban > I'm sorry, but the MAGVEL PRO fader will not fit in the DJM-900SRT. If you are having problems with your crossfader's performance or function, please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.
