[CLOSED] RMX 1000 not working properly with the Rane 62 Mixer

Hello Forum,

I just purchased my Rane 62 a few days ago. I connect my Pioneer RMX 1000 to the send & return connection but it doesn't work when I press the FlexFX button. It worked fine when I had my 57. Is there a setting I'm overlooking?

You should connect the Flex FX send of the Sixty-Two into the 1/4" inputs on the back of your unit.

You will take the output of that unit and connect it to the Flex FX Return on the Sixty-Two.

You might need to go into the Set-up / Plug in tab / DJ FX and put a check mark in the "Enable DJ FX Send" box.

Thanks for the reply Chad. I'm aware of the connections, because my RMX 1000 was working when I had it connected to my TTM 57. I'm using 1/4 cables from the RMX 1000 to the 62. I'm getting signal on the RMX 1000, because my i/o meter is showing signal, but no audio fx from the RMX 1000. I have the output from the RMX 1000 connected to RETURN on the 62 and input connected to SEND on the 62. "Enable DJ FX SEND," is checked in setup. When I press FlexFx on PGM 1 or PGM 2, I get no processing from the RMX 1000**

Do you also have the green "ON" button for the FX turned on? Be sure to engage that as well as the EXT. INSERT button on the mixer.

I'm getting audio, meaning I hear the FX, but now it's mono signal, not stereo

Check your cords. Which ones are you using? Is it two mono plugs or one stereo cord?

I'm using four mono 1/4" cables coming from the Pioneer RMX 1000 connecting to the send and returns on the RANE 62. The green button is pressed ON on the FX and the red EXT Insert button is also pressed, but the FX comes out mono. The cables are fine, I checked them on a 57. The Pioneer RMX 1000 works fine on the 57; the FX from the Pioneer RMX 1000 come out Stereo on the 57. Can it be a mixer defect? Have to wait for a firmware upgrade? When I'm recording, I have the left and right channel going, once I starting using the RMX 1000 on the 62, my right channel drops.
