can anyone tell me what the difference is between the rmx500 and the rmx1k? when was the last fw update for the rmx1k? does the rmx1k work well? Im thinking about buying an effects unit and wondering what is the best value for money

The RMX 1000 does more. And its only cost a lil bit more. No SD card for your own settings or short sound edits. 1000 has the touch pad. 1000 has the ability to record and then remix.. The 500 has the touch sensitive knobs and a few different effects.. thats it.. 1000 has better connections. Get the 1000
if you can only get one.
Yeah, I'd go with the RMX1000 myself - it offers greater customisability than what the 500 offers. Having said that, the 500 is a more out-of-the-box, ready-to-go sort of unit. Good luck with your purchase!
