I hope in the next Update the RB can this:When new Tracks in the Folder the Software makes it automatic to check what Tracks are New!!

Now must be go to Import and Track/Folder but when click on Folder Rekordbox Import the same Tracks also all Tracks Double!!!!!!!!

Make it so:Ckeck Consistency NI makes it so with Trakto and it works

Hope Pioneer makes the same then is the Software 100% worked

LOL,, not likely, 5 months between 1.4 and 1.5 and then another 3 months for 1.5.1, I wouldn't expect the next version for a month or 2, at least... I hope I am wrong though 

According to the guy at the mixvibes stand  something should be with us within the next 8 weeks as from my discussions at the bpm show the pioneer bigwigs gave them a bit of a kicking last week lol (sshhhhhhh)

i dont want additional features i just want it to be stable ..

But ((( shhhh  ))) how do you feel about triggering effects in the software in the future ?

I don't feel good about triggering anything from the software until the f'n crap is stable, don't keep adding features to software that cannot do what it is intended to do now

I just want the basics, be able to jump to a selection from the date/genre drop down by typing in the first few letters of my suggestion, Tab to the next field etc. etc.

The software itself has been rock solid for me (not sure what I'm doing right) the odd/occasional freeze/crash, I play off USB when I play out, but the software has been pretty good for me at home, and that's with recording through Logic at the same time.

Yes the updates have become further drawn out, as Pioneer seems to pay more interest in bringing out further hardware instead.

How about an sync/ update device feature. I work on and add soo many tracks to RB that I just cant keep up when it comes to updating my external drive or usb sticks, let alone, trying to remember what tracks I updated or worked on and where they are located on the external drive, let alone, trying not to duplicate the track... which could cause confusion if I run in to the un updated track. Please!! SYNC SYNC SYNC SYNC!!!! Its just one button, one click to update what has been worked on in RB since the last time I updated my external drives!! I do edits, add new tracks, and updates very often!! and I always like to keep a mirror image of what I have in RB to my external drives! PLEASE!! Lets try to implement this soon!!

^^ if you export and the track already exists on your external media, it'll just skip over it and won't duplicate it.

I agree syncing would be great, if I'm in a rush sometimes I'll prepare in a hurry and go back and add colours/details to tracks later on, would be handy to have those changes sync across without having to delete and re-export the whole track.

Im still trying to push this SYNC feature. I work on lots of tracks all the time, and its a pain to have to delete the track from my external HD and re-export the track and re organize the track back on the HD one by one

@Super Lou: your suggestion would only work if all tracks were mastered identically. Normalizing does not make the audio play at the same sound level, it only stretches the peaks to the loudest (0db) point without distortion, and I can show you many examples where an audio track that registers lower on db scale actually sounds much louder, simply because it was mastered that way using peak limiting and compression tools. You can try "Platinum Notes" software to help a little, but you'll never achieve uniform audible loudness. That's what your ears, EQ and level knobs are for.

What I would like to see in the new version is being able to edit ID3 tags (especially the comment field) when linked, as well as being able to tell which playlist(s) a track belongs to. Displaying a key on the screen/player of a currently playing track would help a lot too.

Kooba: Under your RekordBox Preferences under the Export tab you can change what fields are displayed on your players.

Angus: I reverted back to 1.3.1 as I had some issues with the newer versions, so I don't think I have that.

"normalizing all music files" ????? Guys really.... What you got your hands for? Why you get paid for? Ok, and what next? Maybe: AUTOMIXING!!! Cool feature! So why we need dj's? I mean really if you don't play with gains, or bass-mid-treble , what is all about? just pick a track ?

Please pioneer no normalize of tracks.. Soundquality would be worse too.
