-_- damn another one of those threads...

Let's just say it this way :

Pioneer needs to test the quality and "Idiotproofness" of firmware , therefore testing searching bugs because if theres another bug in there which was not there before people will start to go even madder then they are.

Patience is the key , By the way what problems do you have i can simply do my thing on the CDJ-2000s... nothing that bugs me this much.

It is alot of work , RekordBox AND CDJ's AND DJM's

I agree, the updates have become SO SLOOOOOOWWWWW, they were much quicker when the decks were released almost 3 years ago. Rekordbox is still far from perfect and we havent seen a good update in like a year.

as far as the comment

I disagree, for each product line there should be developers assigned to that product, the guy fixing the DJM FW should not be the same guy that has to stop that and now fix RB, we pay A LOT of money for this gear and there should be enough engineers on Pioneers team to push out good, bug free updates in a pretty reasonable time, And when the update comes out months and months later, make it worth it, the last update for the CDJ2000 was a joke that it took the engineers THAT LONG to fix 2 simple issues, I mean it really took engineers in a big company like pioneer 6-7 months to fix

  • Fixed an issue that a particular USB3.0 does not work properly. (The transfer rate for a USB3.0 device is the same as USB2.0.)
  • Fixed an issue that static noise was occasionally generated with a particular MP3 file.

those are 2 bugs that should be fixed in 6-7 weeks, not months.

meanwhile people are having issues with which "should be" ease of usabilty of the 2000 which should be improved on and RB is still far from a professional product

In my experience, if a company gets a little quieter than usual it means two things: 1) they're in trouble or 2) they are working on something big.

Now, seeing as Pioneer aren't in any trouble that leaves one other option.... And we've been telling you this with some time.

Your patience is appreciated.

Random thoughts...

  • It's never just one guy working on any product.

  • Peanut butter is delicious and I will eat it in front of those with peanut allergies making "YUMMMMM" sounds just to rub it in.

  • One engineer may be a specialist in MP3 encoding/decoding but know absolutely nothing about how the MT algorithm works.

  • Just because a bug is found doesn't mean anyone knows why it happens, how to fix it, or how to fix it without breaking other things.

  • Some things in life take time, others happen in an instant.
