Updating tracks on USB - Rekordbox 2.0.2

Hi!

I just installed RB 2.0.2, and re-analyzed all the tracks in my collection, as I was having the beatgrid issues that others were speaking about in weeks past (bad looping etc)

Having re-analyzed, I am wondering the easiest way to update the songs on my USB sticks now.  Do I have to delete all the songs off of the USB and re-load them, or is there a way to 'update' the beatgrids, or rekordbox info, without having to re-load every song?

Thanks for your help!

Nate

I think, you will have to delete and reload, from the answers I have seen on past posts.

Well, since the Pioneer guys won't get back to me, I believe I have answered my own question.

I re-analyzed all my tracks with RB 2.0.2, and then proceeded to drop the re-analyzed playlists back onto my USB (without removing anything).  RB asks "do you wish to re-write/replace" and I say "yes"  It then proceeds to reload all the music, but it is very fast, which tells me it is re-checking all the tracks, updating the RB info, but not re-writing the actual song files, which is exactly what I wanted to do.

Loops now seem to work properly again, and I didn't have to sit around all day trying to load 2000 songs onto my USB  :)

@Nate > I apologise for the delay - there's been a lot of posts here on the forums recently and I'm trying to get to everyone. I'm glad you got your issue resolved - 2.0.2 is better at beat grid analysis than previous versions.

so what's the best way? reanalyze the collection and that will automatically reanalyze my playlists (stored in my hd)? and then drag and drop them in the usb stick?

@Nate > i've the same problem but when i tried to do as you just said, it didn't ask me to Overwrite the file or no,

it just added it and i found 2 files with the same name, one of them with the Blue Musical Triangle sign and the other one without it

@Gavin > i really need to know if there's a preferences settings to handle such thing or no and what to do exactly.

Here had some issues too...

I tried to rate the tracks and then update the collection or export and didn't workout.  Needed to remove from USB and export again.

There is not option to just sync the computer data base with the USB?

PS:  v2.0.3
