Massive noise DDJ-ergo v

I presume that this is some kind of latency related problem but I really need help. I've been searching around in the forum but I cant find anyone having the same problem as I.

When I first installed virtual dj LE, the driver, pressed the controller switch to On, opened up virtual dj, everything went well and I enjoyed the time but when I was about to continue the next day, everything sounded like I was playing the songs in half the bpm and then there was a massive wall of crackling and popping. I have been trying around with the latency settings, turned the ultra-latency on and off but the only thing that happens is that the more I try around with stuff the worse the wall of noise become until it gets unbearable! When I reset my computer I kind of reboot the noise too but then everything freaks out again. BUT THEN, sometimes everything works perfectly!? I find it totally random and very frustrating. I'm using a hp and listening trough headphones.

Best regards, Karl-henrik

@Karl-Henrik > Have you switched around the ASIO settings at all?

Are you sure you have all of your sample rates the same in your settings?

@Karl-Henrik > As Foster points out, this is likely an ASIO setting. I assume you have downloaded and installed ASIO4ALL. What are you settings?

@Foster > Sorry, but what's a sample rate?

@Gavin > I've downloaded the ASIO4ALL but when I try to apply the ASIO4ALLdriver instead of the usual ASIOdriver a sign that says "error in the ASIO sound driver: not enough channels" occures and then another one direct after that says "error in the ASIO sound driver: Your soundcard is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect.". I dont get it.

Btw, yesterday everything worked out perfect again (the I used the asio driver that was pre-set when I installed the program). I sat for about 4 hours without a single problem. Today, I can hear that crunshy little annoying sound and as I try to continue, it gets worse. By taking away the low and the high I have concluded that the noise only exist on the mid. I don't don't know if that information was helpful. Hope it was :p

@Karl-Henrik > The sample rate is set within your ASIO settings and I believe it's available within your VDJ settings too. Ensure both of these sample rates are set to the same value.

I'll state the obvious, but that sounds like a ASIO4ALL issue since you have an error.

What model of HP are you using?

What version of Windows are you running?

Have you tried re-downloading the ASIO4ALL from the correct site and installing it again?

You shouldn't be running ASIO4ALL unless you need to aggregate ASIO audio interfaces; if you have it installed, remove it.
