@Jason > As the T1 was released when Traktor version 1 was around, the buttons were not configured/mapped for the sample decks (as they didn't exist!). I don't have my T1 hooked up (but will test it). I think they may have updated the mapping to allow for use of the hold button to send the tracks to the sample decks.

SeguirHow do you assign a loops to sample deck without using your mouse (DDJ-T1)
I currently have deck C as a sample deck, and I know that on the S4, you can assign a loop sample to your sample deck with the press of a button, but the similar control doesn't seem to do this on the T1. Anyone know how i can achieve this. if it's a mapping thing, can you please let me know what instruction I need to Map as I have had a look through the oprtions but can't work it out.
Also, how do you control the volume of each of the 4 samples in the sample deck using only the DDJ-T1.
Cheers,

When you say Hold button, do you mean Key Lock?
Also, can you tell me what mapping options I need to select, as I couldn't see anything that made sense in the sampler section of the mapping editor.
Cheers,
Jason
Sorry, meant the SHIFT button, but that typically puts the bank into DELETE mode or the second set of cues.
Cheers Pulse,
Do you know what option I am looking for in the controller editor to be able to send my loop to a sample deck? Image attached.
