Difference between the DDJ T1 and the DDJ S1

If you are just looking for a comparison between them, that's really it, The T1 is a 4 channel controller for traktor and the S1 is a 2 channel controller for Serato Itch, that's the only difference really. they are both pretty much the same midi controller, you buy the one you want based on the software you want to use, not what the controller can do. If you like Serato, buy the S1, Traktor, Buy the T1

and does serato hold more FX than traktor, ive really been tryin too figure out the differences, and peeks which each has too offer

that I don't know, sorry. I use serato here and there, very few times though, I mainly use the 2000's linked to Rekordbox. Maybe a Traktor/Serato guy can chime in or possibly google search differences between Serato Itch and Traktor, I am sure there has to be comparisons out there, good luck!

@Nathan > Traktor, in my opinion, has always been more about effects than Serato and while both pieces of software are pretty good at what they do, the T1 has more control over the effects (FX Bank 1 over Deck A/C and FX Bank 2 over Deck B/D). Personally, when I use a controller, I don't need that many effects so more often than not I'll bring the S1 to a gig rather than a T1 simply because I prefer the UI of Itch over Traktor as well as the XLR mic input on the S1.

It may be worth remembering that Native Instruments have announced a major revision to the their line-up - however we'll have to wait and see what happens with Traktor Pioneer Edition.
