I've had the exact same problem and searched the forums (fora?) and not found any of the solutions offered (unchecking "reset all decks when loading", not using sync, etc.) to work. HELP!

SeguirPioneer DDJ-T1 Tempo Slide not Changing Traktor BPM
Hi,
Apologies if this has already been answered but I've searched the forums on both the Traktor and Pioneer DJ sites and not found a suitable answer.
I bought the Pioneer DDJ-T1 controller a month ago and I love it (using it with Traktor). Except.... I've noticed time and time again when using the Tempo slide button in sync it seems to stick / not change / be unresponsive with the BPM of the track in Traktor. You seem to have to 'wiggle' the tempo slider to the extreme to 'wake it up'.
This is very much not OK when you are playing a set on the radio or in front of a paying audience! You can use your mouse / trackpad to change the tempo on the screen in Traktor but this defeats the purpose of the controller. If you do 'wake up' the tempo slide, it can sometimes massively increase or decrease the speed of the track playing. Needless to say I won't get any further paid gigs if this kind of thing happens.
A few forum posts have been done on this. With the only 'answer' I've found saying that this was fixed with 'traktor native fix 2.1.1'. I've just downloaded the latest version of Traktor (Pro) though and the problem remains.
PLEASE HELP!
I've paid gigs coming up and although I could 'get by' its really not what I bought the product for. As I say, I love it - But this is really annoying me.
Any tips / ways to fix it / am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Rich

Guys, have you updated (drivers on Windows) as well as the latest version of Traktor (2.6.2 or something like that)?
You can find the mapping file for Traktor here: http://pioneerdj.com/support/product.php?c=317&lang=en&p=DDJ-T1&t=72
Please try both of those and let us know how it goes.
I have bought DDJ-T1 controller few days ago and I have exactly the same problem on my laptop (mid 2012 Macbook Pro with Retina display) working under OS X 10.8 and Traktor version 2.6.0. Tempo slider is unresponsive for 30-45 seconds after using SYNC function in the mix. I need to wait and then move Tempo slider up and down to get it working properly again. It's really annoying and using a mouse/keyboard is not acceptable as this kind of equipment is intended replace mouse and keyboard! The mapping file you delivered is for version 2.5.0 and I'm using the most current one - 2.6.0 Pioneer Edition2. Please provide the necessary support to solve this issue quickly as I'm planning to play on a party soon and this is quite basic function really limiting the usage of DDJ-T1 hardware.
