DDJ-WeGO High-pitched noise in headphones

Just as the title says.  I hear a constant high-pitched sound from the headphone output.  Is anybody else getting this?  Or is my unit defective?  It is more prominent in the right channel, but it occurs in both, and is not affected by the volume control.  It is usually tolerable, since music will easily overpower it, but when nothing is playing, it is quite annoying.

It seems to be caused by the LED lighting around the jog wheels.  When I turn the LEDs off via the RGB controls, it goes away, but as soon as I let go of shift, the lights turn back on.  It seems to be a design flaw, not isolating the headphone output from the LEDs.

I've attached a short clip of it (amplified to accentuate).

I thought the same thing at first, but I don't think it is.  It's not effected by the volume control, but with a ground loop I would expect it to be, because it would be pre-amplifier.  Also, it does not happen through the master output.

I wish I had a USB isolator to test your theory, but I do not, I can really only speculate at this point.

honestly the sound is only hear when music is not playing, if music is playing loud enough i can only hear like 5% of it. Also, the high pitched noise won't be recorded/played back on your speakers so it's alright.

Are you using the WeGO with a laptop connected to wall-power?  Does the noise continue if you disconnect the wall-power and run only on the battery?

Yes, I'm using it on a portable. MacBook Air, specifically. The issue occurs when on battery or on power adapter, with both 2 prong or 3 prong AC connection.

It happens no matter what, unless I turn the jog wheel LEDs off

Hi. We have the same issue. High tone buzzing noise is audible in the headphones and is also present in master output. Noise level is about -60db. It's not a ground loop problem cause I'm using WeGo connected to a notebook on battery. I've sent back the device to a dj-store as broken and got the replacement, but the second controller has the same problem

Confirmed. There is no buzzing noise while the jog wheel LEDs turned off.

Some feedback from the engineers:

"This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next firmware update.

Thank you for your patience until the next update is released."
