How to configure the DDJ-WeGO / DDJ-WeGO2 with Traktor

This guide is for Traktor users with version 2.6.0 or newer.

First things first, PC users need drivers. ** Grab them here. Mac users, yours are built-in! Just connect the USB. But while you're at it,  update your firmware and  get the latest TSI file**.

With the drivers installed and the device connected, in OSX go to Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup. You should see this:

Windows users, depending on the version, you may see it under the Devices listing or you may want to open your hardware manager to confirm.

Next, open Traktor and go to the preferences and select the Audio Setup item:

Select the WeGO as your audio device.

Go to the Output Routing item and set the Mixing Mode to INTERNAL and then set decks 1 & 2 to have outputs matching what you see here:

If you haven't already done so, click that Import button at the bottom of the Preferences window - find the TSI file (which you should have already unzipped) and import it. You'll see the screen below. If you are using other MIDI devices, be sure to have those settings on backup before importing!

Next, check that the MIDI ports are assigned. While I had imported the TSI properly, the In and Out ports were assigned to "All Ports," which will work but I prefer to have mine set to the specific target. Go to the Controller Manager item:

Change the device to show the Pioneer WeGO and then make it so the In and Out are set to the WeGO as well.

You can now close the prefs and you're all set to rock the WeGO with Traktor. Enjoy!
