Pioneer DDJ SR - Play Button & Performance Pad Issue

I have only been using my new Pioneer DDJ SR controller for a few weeks now, and up to this point have only been learning how to use it and have used it all but just a few times for extremely basic functions. So, I am not sure what is causing the issue that I am having with it. I am using the most updated version of Serato DJ and the firmware to the controller as well.

When I turn on the controller in Serato DJ, I notice that the 4th performance pad (on the top) on the left hand side never illuminates (though up to this point it always has). Also, the bottom 4 pads illuminate to the darker blue as if they are activated with information from Serato, but there are no saved cue points, etc to have them fully illuminated like that. When I take a look at the right hand side of the controller, all performance pads are illuminated with a dim blue, something I've always been used it.

When I then load a track into the left side, I go to press play and it won't play. I end up pressing the play button numerous times and it'll finally get going, but it remains inconsistent when I hit the play button again to stop the track. At times, I'll press play and it'll load the same song onto the right side of the deck and it'll play. 

None of these issues occur when I use the right side controller.

I'm looking for insight into this matter so that I can start working on my controller without any issues, get the 4th performance pad up and illuminated and my play button issue fixed.
