DDJ SX2! Jogwheel is rubbing on something!!??

On both of my jogwheels, when i spin them in the 7 o'clock range to about 12 o'clock you can here something like under the wheel like scratching or rubbing, it makes a hissing sound and the wheel gets stiff, its still moveable but its not a pleasant thing to hear or feel. Is it lacking oil? Do i need to take it in for service? I just got it yesterday so I don't know whats wrong...
