I can't confirm this as I don't have an SX2 on hand, but I'll ask the engineers to clarify.

DDJ-SX2 2in2out
The 2in2out function on the SX2 has been disabled in one of the recent firmware updates.
If you want to use the SX2 as a sound card, you used to be able to use 2 of the inputs (4 channels total) to bring external audio into your DAW. This has since been disabled.
From what I have read, if you buy the DVS pack for SeratoDJ and start up Serato, it will enable the 2in function. But, if you restart the DDJ-SX2 without serato running it will default back to only having the MIC/AUX input available.
My question is:
Is there any way to permanently enable the 2in2out function?

Did you ever get an answer on this?
I'm in a similar situation as you where I've been experimenting using my SX2 as a DAW audio/MIDI interface....
Hoping you're not still having the same problem with the 2in2out function!!
