[CLOSED] PIoneer DDJ-SR controller sound buzzing

Hello all,

I recently purchased the Pioneer DDJ-SR controller to use with Serato DJ.  The controller has responded correctly to everything I did as far as pads and mixer are concerned in Seratro.  My only issue right now is the sound coming out.  I plugged in a RCA cable into the booth out/master out 2  into the line in of my computer so I could stream my live mixing.  But when you listen to audio is has a buzzing sound.  I tried the same method with the front headphone jack to line in and it also gave me a buzzing issue.  I also tried is using TRS cables to my audio interface same issue.

I figured it was my computers line in or my audio interface as the issue or grounding, but after I tried other devices those we very clear.  Only the DDJ-SR has been giving me this problem. All my firmware, drivers and software is update to date, I'm not on power saving mode. My sound levels on my controller are in the normal ranges.

I don't know really what else to do other than return the controller.  Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Thanks

I am having this exact same issue, except my sound quality issues go beyond buzzing and include loud pops and crackling as well.

I am streaming through my DDJ-SR, using Serato DJ, into MixLR.  I have my Mac's default output set to "Headphones/Line-out" and the input set to "Line-in".  I can play a music file through the devoted MixLR "playlist" channel and it comes through the other end of the stream crystal clear, however if I send the exact same file through Serato/DDJ-SR and into the MixLR "device input" channel (set to my DDJ-SR) the sound quality degrades immensely.  It's difficult to trace the source of the issue because the DDJ-SR output sound, when plugged directly into any speaker system, or recorded, sounds perfect.  It seems that output from the DDJ-SR is getting distorted somehow after it leaves the hardware but before it enters the MixLR application.  I've tried just about every possible combination of input/output settings between my laptop, and MixLR (Serato does not have any options here...) to no avail.  It is very irritating - It's gotten to the point that I must record my live sets in Serato and then play the recorded file over my MixLR station so that my viewers can enjoy what they hear without major sound quality issues.

@Nile > Have you tried without running MixLR? Do you have the same problem without it?

What about removing the power supply for your computer (assuming it's a laptop) - try running on battery only. Does it still buzz?
