Please explain?? LOL

SeguirJitter.
It has a name!
Jitter.
Thank you for the update, Pulse. We wait. I still have my Serato / Serato-HID 'workaround' but those modes still pale in comparison to RB + Pro Link!

I take it MT...
Yes, read the bottom of the 2nd page in the closed 'nightclub problem-------cdj 2000s drifting?' thread.
Or, I shouldn't be so lazy, here:

"_Note from the engineers:
Thank you for pointing out this issue.
We confirmed the Jitter is happening when MT is ON with the track pointed in this thread.
This Jitter does not happen under particular condition and varies depending on the genre of the track and settings of Tempo.
We investigated many tracks in different genres.
We are working on improvements to have this Jitter reduced right now.
Please give us more time to improve this.
Again, thank you for your understanding.
We appreciate your patience.

i'm really, really pleased to see this.
Please give us more time to improve this.
I think MT and pitch would be perfect on the cdj 3000......Just a joke
And hopefully they will solve the same jitter issue on the CDJ-900...
cross your fingers!
no word yet on an update?
No, but it'll be obvious when there is. In the meantime, thanks for bumping the thread though!
When we have one, we post one.
Hello everibody
I bought a cdj2000 2 weeks before and i saw some problem . I dont want to start a new thread because maybe some people talk with this .
Better to show what i see http://youtu.be/zfO1csWmPOo
The BPM is not correct what the player shows , never show the correct BPM sometimes show less then real but mostly shows more than real with 0,2 .
I hope it gets fixed soon, I want to buy three 2000's but there is no way I am going to until this issue is fixed. Or maybe if i buy them they will come with earlier firmware? I guess i've been spoiled with how good the 350s are? haha
Actually cdj2000 is a great player. Better than 350, 850,900 I think.
@Daywalker, I haven't noticed something like this in my cdj2000s.
In the other hand I don't pay too much attention on the screen and I always use 2 same model of equipment.
For example, 2 x cdj2000 or 2 x cdj350 or 2 x sl1200 etc
I think its better this way than using 2 different ones.
Sorry but this does not change anything about the fact cdj 2000 not shows correct the bpm ...
@Joedia > Correct, it doesn't. But where did it say it did?
@Joedia > Delete the track from your Rekordbox collection, re-import the track again and let it analyze. Then check what Rekordbox has for the BPM in the BPM column for that track. After you check that, load the track in Rekordbox and click the down arrow to the right of the enlarged Waveform. This should bring up the additional controls to set the beat grid information. You will see a grey area near that down arrow that you can see the actual analyzed BPM. You can alter the BPM in the column layout but it does not change the actual BPM. The true analyzed BPM is always in that location even if it says something else in the BPM column. Make sure the BPM column reads the same as the real analyzed BPM and you should be good to go.
@DJ Daywalker > Whether or not you come across the Jitter issue, all depends on:
- The style of music you play
- Your own style of mixing
- And it all depends on if you have Master Tempo turned ON, Jitter does not exist with Master Tempi turned OFF
Also, note that the Jitter isn't specific to any firmware version, it has existed from day one. I wouldn't let it stop you from getting the 2000s, especially if you currently have 350s.
@Foster > The track what i played is not analised by RB , I'm analized the track now in RB and this shows correct 128.00 BPM .
the track is analised by player , I noticed over 70% of tracks what i played ( no RB analised ) has +0,2 BPM at display ( real time analised by player )
@Joedia, in order to have best results from your music library when using cdj2000,
you should analyse your tracks and export to your sourse via rekordbox
@Dj Daywalker, I've noticed in your video that bpm display next to waveform takes a while to appear.
That shouldn't be happening. It should be loading tracks waveform and bpm instantly.
@Joedia, I am sorry but I thought video was posted by Daywalker :s
I observed the cdj 2000 not shows correctly the BPM at SD card and USB function , but at cd function it works perfect .
Its obvious that the tracks you have in usb stick are not exported by rekord box.
Thats why it takes time to load the waveform and BPM.
Cdj2000 is rekordbox related and you should use it to analyse your tracks.
When you play a cd, cdj2000 reacts different than when you use usb.
It takes a bit of time to load the waveform and bpm and thats happening because you cant analyse in rekordbox.
So don't compare how tracks react in cdj2000 when using a non rb analysed usb stick and a cd,
because in first case you should use rb to copy your music to usb stick in order to work properly
and in second case its normal because you use a cd.
see this video I found in net ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTKmrv5brLQ
I don't want to repeat myself , this is not normal i think for this " industry standard player" for me is not a problem to use .... for example i know dj s who has cdj900 and never use RB analysed usb ...
Ok , RB help you, but what it means ? when you are not use RB u will never have a good player ?
I show this problems to help engineers to make perfect this player ... This is not a big problem i think , it can be resolved easy with a new Firmware...
I dont like also to repeat myself..
As I said before cdj2000 in order to provide you with the information, you need to use RB.
This two things go together if you wanna use usb,sd or hard disk.
Don't get me wrong you can still play music if you just copy some tracks to a usb.
But if you have a library of 1000 tracks, lets say divided into playlists
and you just copy them in usb stick then cdj2000 wont respond nice at all.
It is computer related and it needs its software to gain most of it.
I have an ipod. I can't just copy the mp3s straight to it. I need to sync it by using iTunes.
Also Jitter is a different story and it evolves Master Tempo.
@Joedia > Dream Treez is right that this isn't related to the "Jitter" this thread is based on. In the future it might be best to start a new thread if you're unsure if the topics are relate. :)
Anyhow, I am curious as to how the CDJ loaded the waveform so quickly when you did not use Rekordbox?
Did you let the waveform load on a CDJ then save the waveform to the SD card?
@Dream Treez > I'm sure Joedia realizes what you're saying; since the first message that appears on the screen when the "SD" tab was pressed in the video, clearly states to use Rekordbox "for optimal performance". ;)
Yes, can you please stop hi-jacking my Jitter thread please! :-)
