If you intend to power the unit in the UK, you will need a transformer that brings the voltage from 240v down to 100v.
Will a CDJ-850-K bought in Japan operate normally in the UK provided the 100v current limit is correctly applied, or are there other reasons also as to why there is a label on the box for this unit that reads 'For Japanese Standard only. This set operates on AC100V' ?
Also, how close to 100V does the AC adapter used need to be? I see a good number of adapters for adjusting between UK 240V and US 120V AC current, but will this be close enough to the 100V that the CDJ-850-K needs to operate?
Sorry for the technical question. My guess is that it would not be wise to power a 100V appliance on 120V, but if anyone out there knows for sure...
