Does updating CDJ 2000 firmware effect Rekordbox, USBs or anything else?

I noticed the CDJs at the club I play at are out of date. I'd like to update them tonight before we open but the last thing I want is to have some sort of discrepancy between the update and any medium the other DJs are using. Could anyone shed some light on this? Or should I be good to go.
