The S4 cannot act as a standalone mixer, however you can use it to incorporate your CDJ 2000s into a timecode setup. You would route the outputs of your CDJ 2000 into the inputs of deck C and D located on the back of the S4.

SeguirIs it possible to use my CDJ2000nexus' with my S4?
Hi all!
I recently upgraded from my CDJ's to CDJ -2000nexus. I have an S4 that I use for travel gigs and the CDJ's are my home/studio setup.
My question is this: How would one go about (and is it even possible) using the S4 as the mixer and the CDJ 2000nexus? If possible, it seems like it would give me some interesting options.
You help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, DJNR.
Ok, Thats what I did first just playing with it. I'll keep them running through my mixer and leave the S4 just for travel.

Correct, all audio is routed through Traktor so you cannot use the mixer in standalone mode.
