@Cyndicate > Is the HDD USB-powered or AC powered? Yes, it should be formatted to FAT32 but given that the CDJ2000 already reads it that means its already formatted to FAT. Have you updated all the firmware on all your units?

Cdj-2000 Nexus not reading External Hard Drive!
So my 2 Cdj-2000's (mk1) read my 1.5tb Seagate Go-Flex HDD USb 3.0/2.0 completely fine, but my 2000 nexus does not! The only way I can access my files on my HDD is when I link all three up, have a usb stick in one of the 2000's, the HDD in the other 2000, and then I can see the tracks on the 2000 nexus. But again, the 2000 nexus does not read the HDD if I plug it in to the USB port of the 2000 nexus? My 2000 nexus does read the USB stick (32gb) fine though. What is going on here? Does my external hard drive have to be formatted to FAT32? I have a Mac and use Rekord box only for setting up tracks, not for Dj'ing. And no, I'm not using any lame cheats such as Traktor or Virtual Dj with my three decks. Strickly a USB stick, an SD card, and trying to use my external hard drive.
