XDJ-AERO and Virtual Dj

So I thought I'd try and get the aero to work with vdj 7 but no luck. I have installed the asio drivers and can get audio to play through the aero by clicking play on the software. However the aero doesn't show up in the mapper section so I have no control through it. Anyone else got it to work?
