[SOLVED] Disabling audio on crossfader?

I'm using the XDJ-R1 with Virtual DJ 8 and was wondering is there a way to just use the crossfader just to mix video without it mixing the audio too? I've been djing for 22 years now and I'm just so use to mixing the audio with the channel faders instead of the crossfader. Any info is appreciated, Thanks!

@Scott > Easy - keep the crossfader mapped to the video crossfader within VDJ, but on the R1, simply move the crossfader assign switch to "THRU." This will not pass audio through the crossfader but it will still send the MIDI signal to the software for video transitions. :)
