[SOLVED] Xdj-R1 Jog sensivity problem after updating firmware 1.09 to 1.10

Hi

I found a problem with both decks in vinyl mode. Scratch is not working during play mp3 from Traktor . If I play a track, scratch is not working properly. But if the track is on pause the scratch works fine.  The problem is noticed more in Deck 1, and in a minor percentage in DECK 2. After turning jog sensitivity up to +4, and after scratching a track for a while xdj-r1 freezes. No Sound, No Control aftwerwards. Thus i must re-boot my mac and start again. with same outcome. I had not any problem with previous fw version 1.09.

Someone post something similar in a related topic called 1.09 not all right, without any reply....

Thanks for helping.

Okay, I don't understand what you've just posted ... please use your native language and I'll use the translation tools to figure it out.

Sorry, Pulse

I have made the test with pen drive, and also with cds. to figure out what is happening, when i touch de jog wheel while the track is on play on vinyl mode, i have no control of the track, the track does not stop completely, it continues skipping parts of tracks. This thing did not happen with the previous firmware

1.09. It begun just when i updated firmware.  I will try to make a video and put the link so you can check it out.

It worth to mention that even by increasing jog sensitivity to +4, i found no results.

Sometimes works, but only when i press the job wheel  really hard.

Anything you can do, will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Okay, so to clarify - this is happening when you're using the unit WITHOUT Traktor; it happens directly on the playback of an audio file from a USB or CD source?

The firmware update may not be related with his as there were no changes to the scratch settings in the last update. Even after the jog sensitivity is changed and the problem occurred mostly on one deck, these facts lead the engineers to conclude that it may be a hardware issue. Please contact customer service (links are to the right) to have your R1 inspected.

I updated to the 1.10 today as well and I experience also problem with vinyl mode after the firmwire. Using cds, usb and midi mode on the deck B, the song doesnt stop to play when I use the jog HOWEVER if I'm on vinyl mode on deck A and I put my hand on the jog as if I want to scratch, then vinyl mode on deck B would work and well. Didn't had these problems before 1.10 so...

I find this really weird, it may not be a sensitivity problem since scratching on deck B work as well as before only if I put a little pressure on deck A as if I wanted to scratch on deck A... and this happens even though nothing is playing on deck A.

Is there a way to go back to 1.09 and check?

* updates (sorry for three post in a row) vinyl mode on deck b works fine if the song is paused... so I would really be surprised if this was a sensitivity problem

@Nicholas > As above for Adrian, please contact Pioneer technical support as it may be an issue with the hardware.
