Hi, I've just upgraded to firmware 1.12 on my R1 and am using the latest version of rekordbox and remotebox. After about half an hour of playing I've noticed the blue light in the right hand deck ROLL button stops working? The button itself still works and remotebox shows when ROLL is on or off, but the light on the deck remains off? I've tried a re-start but it makes no difference, I assumed the button was faulty but after I left the unit unplugged for a couple of hours it came back to life and was fine again. Is this possibly a firmware thing or should I take the unit to my local service engineer? Any thoughts? H

Hi, it is always on the right deck but seems really random. A power down doesn't fix it, it just reappears and disappears of it's own accord! Felt more like a dodgy connection than a software thing. Was wondering if there's a self test mode that might help decide between hardware/software?

Hi Hugh, when the device is powered up and the device does its own initialisation does the LED always light up? If it goes off after a while its likely to be software however obviously if it doesn't come on at the start it will be a hardware fault.
I seem to recall experiencing this before and I feel there is a condition that causes the roll light to not illuminate, but then again, it's entirely possible I'm thinking of another product (given that I have to deal with so many!)
Let me ask the engineers if they have any suggestions.
Okay, so engineers believe it's a problem with the hardware and you should send it to be serviced.
i have a similar problem with my left deck.
2 leds in jog wheel they didn't work.
